You who knows me, know I do not eat fish. Of any kind. Yeschhhh. Destroyed tastebuds during childhood. But dinner last night turned out so well I thought I share. The recipe isn’t entirely mine, but comes from ICA’s billiga vecka (cheap week) and then I tweaked it.

For 4 persons: Hardboild 4 eggs and chop them up.

600 gr cod fillet, 25gr or so of butter, salt and pepper. I cutter up the butter in tiny sticks and put them in an oven safe dish. Placed the cod on top and seasoned with salt and pepper. Bake in an 200C oven for around 15 min, check out there done.

Sauce; 2 tbs butter, 2tbs flour, 4dl milk, 1 cube of fish or veg stock (I used veg) salt, 1/2dl chopped parsley, pepper, salt, Santa Marias Chili Explosion, cayenne pepper and some raw sugar. melt the butter in a pan, swirl in the flour. Add the milk a little at the time and let simmer for a couple of minutes until thickens. Stir in the eggs, parsley and season. Be careful with the salt since the stock can be rather salty. Balance the taste with a bit of raw sugar. Serve with cooked potatoes.

This went down well with my men, two of them plotted of a meal for 4 almost by themselves. 100gr serving = 500kcal. 5:2 people might want to cut down on the potato in favor of the cod. The sauce is good enough to have as a sauce ;-o
