Now this is going to be very very interesting – the very first give away I ever done. It is in celebration of my new and just mine sewing space and – a bit of pay back for all the generosity I have encountered over the years from people I didn’t know very well the world of quilting.
Rules:
Everyone can participate but only once.
To do so you must post a comment here on my blog no later than Friday 12th of July at midnight and you have to give a valid email address.
The winners will be randomly chosen by John, I wish I could say Diego (cause that would be more fun), but he would probably chew up the tickets LOL.
I have four sets and in your comment you can tell me which one you which/want/need.
There are some full yards, some 1/2 yards and some smaller, some panels and some glittery print. Non of the fabrics have been washed and they have lived in a home with dogs. However, none of the dogs have laid on any of the pieces ;-). Some of the fabrics have had small parts cut out of them.
Pink package: Red package: Blue package: Beige package:
HAPPY HUNTING 😀

Oh! Goody, goody gumdrops! The blue package looks like the fabrics I’m collecting to make a crazy quilt for my coffin. Some folks have a “Bucket List”. That’s their list of things they hope to do before they die (Kick The Bucket). I have a stash of small bits of tropical fabrics that remind me of the long ago years I spent in Hawaii. I remember Hawaii as being heavenly so I shall take a blanket with me into paradise. I should get back to that project…I’m not getting any younger.
A fellow quilter, Melissa from Kauai, gave me a bundle a few years ago. All those flowers on her fabrics look like her garden. She lives in paradise. She is one Sweet Pickle!

Enjoy your new space!
Nothing like starting over with a new space to organize and play in.
I have plenty of fabric, but if you DO draw my name, I’m looking for panels , so any group that has them would be great.
Enviously,
Nina

What a beautiful sewing room! You are one lucky lady, and I know you will appreciate all the effort to make it happen.
Thanks for offering the give away fabrics. They are all beautiful in their own way, but the red is telling me I need it. LOL
Enjoy!

I love the blue fabrics! Your new sewing room is wonderful. It’s nice to have a separate dedicated space so you don’t have to keep moving everything.

Underbart syrum du har fått! Jag väljer beige, men det spelar faktiskt ingen roll, man har ju användning för alla färger!

Hi Wolfie. I’m here from applique addicts. Isn’t it wonderful to have a dedicated sewing area. Mine’s not pretty, it’s in the basement, but my DH had wonderful lighting installed for me. I love it and never have to worry about tidying up, putting machines away when people are to come over. There is no reason for company to see it unless they want to sew with me. Your fabrics are lovely and I’d be happy with any of them.
Maggie Howell said:
Oooh! How lovely. I would be happy with the blue or the beige. I have two machines up at the same time & it is brilliant!

I love your sewing area! I also love the 6600 sewing machine. What a work horse! The blue fabric is my favorite.

Grattis till härligt syrum. Skulle vilja vinna beige tyg men tar gärna någon annan färg.

Love your sewing area! So nice of you to have a give away on your new blog! I would love the red or blue, but any would do!!
Susan B in CA said:
I envy you your sewing space. I have either a bedroom where I sew or a sewing room where I sleep. 😉 Since the room is full of sewing equipment and supplies and the bed is tucked into the corner, I have to say it’s most likely the latter. I vote for the beige assortment. They’re all pretty, but beige is my color. When I wear it, people say how nice I look. When I wear green, however, they ask if I feel well. Sigh! And when I wear red, they ask if I’m running a fever! All the pretty colors, and mine is beige. It’s very sad.

enjoy your new sewing area. there is something to be said for not having to pick everything up for dinner! I understand. my DH got so sick of mine he put on addition just for my sewing!
BTW I love red!!!

Hi, I saw your post on the Janome group. I would choose the beige pack simply because that is the group that is lacking in my stash.
They are all great. I wish I could choose one fabric from each. Ha ha.

Grattis till syrummet. Jag har inget speciellt önskemål om jag skulle vinna, det är ju roligt med utmaningar! Använd nu ditt rum flitigt!

Hey, Wolfie! LOVE your new sewing space! What a lucky gal and what a wonderful DH. Those are all lovely sets of fabric, but the red group seems to be calling my name. I have a couple panels that I’m trying to decide what to do with and those colors would go perfect with them. Thanks for sharing your stash!

How fun to see your fabric collection, Wolfie. And I love the light flowing into your windows over your work spaces. I am too far away for you to send me fabric if I win, but all of your fabrics look like they would be right at home in my stash!
